  Clearly it's been 2 years since their last review and they've changed for the better: I've been to multiple horse back riding 'ranches' and I've never found one I actually liked. THIS IS BY FAR the most interesting and diverse ranch I've been too! I WILL BE BACK :):) ***Pros: Different trails, a lot of woods to go by ( you're not going in circles), diverse scenery, the horses ARE WELL BEHAVED, no one "fell off" and NO HORSES WERE BEING WHIPPED by sticks or whatever the other user had mentioned. It IS under new management and they're doing a GREAT job turning their name around. The GUIDE was very pleasant and we had the option to trot/ gallop a little (which was a plus for us experienced riders). **I was there this morning and I was pleasantly surprised with how well our ride went, the horses were calm, the ride was very relaxed and the guide was extremely pleasant. I plan on coming back and with a group of friends and at every season where I can enjoy the trees, leaves, weather in general and of course, the ride. Officially my choice of riding. Good Job Double G Ranch, keep it up!!

  Worst place for horseback riding. The horses are overworked. The staff is rude. I question the animals well being at this ranch.
